The 3rd installment of the Spider-man movie will debut on May 4th in the United States. The merchandising is already in full swing. We already have seen Spidersapien in January, now it is the cute iDog's turn to become a super hero. Meet Spi-Dog.
The feature-set of the Spi-Dog has not changed. Hasbro just painted a spider-man outfit onto the interactive music dog.
There are two versions of the Spi-Dog available. The photo above shows the red Spi-Dog available on Sharper Image, which sells for $39.95.
The same Spi-Dog sells on Amazon.com for only $27.99. You might notice that the eyes on the Sharper Image product shot are red and on the Amazon one they are white. I assume the first is taken when the eyes of the Spi-Dog light up.
The 2nd version of the Spi-Dog is in cool black and white spider-man outfit. It sells via Amazon.com for $59.99, but Target has it for $27.99, but the shipping time is given with 2-6 weeks. Via iLounge.
If the iDog is not appealing to you, you can always go with the Mr. Potato Head - Spider Spud Red selling for $12.99 on Amazon.com (photo below).
