The registration for the beta test for the most anticipated Xbox 360 game in 2007 is closed. If you one of the lucky participants you will be able to test the multi-player aspects for Halo 3 starting May 16th.
There might be still a chance to get into the beta when you buy the Xbox 360 game Crackdown. There are Crackdown boxes especially marked with a Halo 3 sticker.
Xbox Live Gold subscription holders can simply load their copy of Crackdown into Xbox 360 and use the disc as a key to download the beta from Xbox Live Marketplace and join the battle in Halo 3 multiplayer.
The beta of Halo 3 will exactly run from May 16 at 5 a.m. PDT through June 6 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
More details on the Halo 3 site and in this press-release.
You can also just decide to lean back and wait until November to play the finished Halo 3 game. Pre-order of Halo 3 has already started.
