Today Tritton Technologies is announcing their AXPC headphones for PC. These headphones are USB powered and promise to deliver true 5.1 audio via one single USB connection. A removable mic works for online gaming and VOIP as well.

Each ear cup uses four speakers for center, front, rear and subwoofer along with an integrated in-line audio control with volume adjustments for the individual channels. A master volume and a mic mute switch are also included.Software is included that allows you to simulate 2.1 to 7.1 surround sound from audio recorded in stereo only. In addition to the four speakers in each ear cup rumble technology is used which vibrates in time to sounds in games.
