Converted Roomba Vacuum Weilds Airsoft Gun

I have played with the Roomba robotic vacuums in the past and they were cool. The only real issue with the thing was that my lazy dog wouldn’t move out of the way so the thing could work and if he wasn’t lying in front of it he was attacking it.

Some resourceful geek has devised a Roomba outfitted with an airsoft gun. This is one vacuum that would set Muttly right next time he tries to attack it. The mod uses a wireless camera and a laser site to aim the airsoft gun.A laptop is used to drive the robot around and the camera allows the operator to see what the laser is aimed at. I don’t recall the Roomba being particularly fast moving so most likely you would need to catch your target by surprise to be able to hit it. Story and image via Sci Fi Tech
