Creative announced today the new iPod shuffle competitor Zen Stone.
The Creative Zen Stone is a tiny 1GB mp3 player without display. On 1GB storage you can carry about 250 songs. The Stone supports of course random play and has an acceptable battery life of 10 hours. It plays WMA and MP3. No DRM support.The new Creative DAP requires Windows XP or Vista. No Apple support.
ZEN Stone comes black, white, red, blue, pink and green.
Creative will start selling the Zen Stone on May 14th for $39.99. A 1GB iPod shuffle sells for $65.
The Creative ZEN Stone will even have its own unique docking speaker
system, the Creative TravelSound(TM) ZEN Stone, which will be available in black or white in July.
