According to sources at Digitimes, Asus plans new Asus Eee PC 904 and 905 netbooks.
The Asus Eee PC 904 and Eee 905 would have the same form factor as the new 10 inch Asus Eee PC 1000, but feature the smaller 8.9 inch screen known from the Eee PC 901.
The keyboard in the 904 and 905 are also bigger compared to the current 901 model.
Apparently Asus identified the smallish keyboard of the current 900 Eee series netbooks as an usability problem.
When the Asus Eee PC 904 and 905 will be shipping is unknown. When they ship the prices of the Asus Eee PC 900 and 901 will of course come down. I also suggest that Asus works on pricing to bring the 900 series Asus Eee netbooks under $400.
More details on Digitimes.
The Asus Eee PC 901 and the Asus Eee PC 1000 are expected to ship in the U.S. starting July 8th.
