Amoi Electronics (Amoisonic) offers a DVD Player with built-in Wireless Network that enables to stream MP3 from a PC to a Home Stereo.
Like the Creative Wireless Media Receiver or the SLIMP3 we reported about, the Amoi DVD Player enables Music streaming from you PC to a Home Stereo or Home Theatre system.
The Amoi NDP9200 or NPD9100, the version numbers are a bit confusing. I think the NPD9200 is available in the US and the NPD9100 in Asia, but they look to be pretty much the same thing.
The Amoi DVD Player has a PCMCIA Slot that takes a Wireless Network Card, with that it connects to the PC on the wireless network.
The Navigation of the available media files is done via the TV Screen. The DVD player comes with a Media Server software called D5 Media Server, that needs to be installed on the PC.
Buy.com
sells the Amoi NDP9200
for only $219.99(MSRP:299.99).
The price is just amazing, you get a DVD Player and a Media Streaming solution for 220 bucks.
GoVideo also has a Networked DVD Player D2730 we reported about in July.
