Dell offers new low-cost projector supporting all video formats needed for Home Theater use.
The Dell 2200MP uses Digital Light Processing (DLP) double data rate (DDR) technology.
The 2200MP projector provides native 800x600 SVGA resolution, and an auto-sync feature that adjusts the output resolution to match the input device at up to 1400x1050 SXGA+. The Projector supports a full range of television and video
standards, including NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV (480i/P, 576i/P, 720P and 1080i).
With the 1080i, DVD Players and Game Consoles like the X-Box can be used at full resolution.
The 37 dBA noise level seems acceptable for home use. Although I am still waiting for the projector without a fan.
Dell sells the Dell 2200MP Multimedia Projector with 1-Year Advanced Exchange Service, 90-Day Limited Warranty on Lamp
for $899.
A Replacement Lamp (1200 Lumens) for the Dell 2200MP Projector runs for $279.95.
