The really good news is that Disney is launching the game on virtually every major gaming system around including Windows PC, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, PS2, PSP and Nintendo DS. Players of the game will get to take on the characters of familiar heroes from the films including Capitan Jack Sparrow, will turner, and Elizabeth Swann as well as other characters.
“Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End allows players to experience a swashbuckling pirate’s life through adventure and swordplay that goes far beyond the events of the films,” said Craig Relyea, vice president of marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. “With its unique, dynamic gameplay and stunning graphics, Pirate of the Caribbean: At World’s End provides a new and significant chapter in the Pirates of the Caribbean video game franchise.”
Disney promises that both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will have HD graphics and the PS3 version makes use of the SIXAXIS controller’s motion-sensing technology. Sounds like we will see some Red Steel action on the PS3, here's hoping they pull it off well. Naturally the Wii version makes use of the Wii mote to simulate sword play and the nunchuck will allow you to grab enemies. The pricing for the game is $59.99 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 version, $49.99 for the Wii version, $39.99 for the PS2 version, $29.99 for PSP and a mere $19.99 for the PC version. All versions carry an ESRB rating of E 10+. Via Disney Interactive Studios
