PNY has been selling NVIDIA graphics cards for a long time and are not typically known for making overclocked cards. They are out to change that notion with the release of their first overclocked graphics card, the PNY XLR8 8800 GTX Overclocked graphics card.
This card is a very good performer and places PNY in the same playing field as XFX, BFG, and EVGA. If you have traditionally thought of PNY as the maker of cards that don’t perform well it’s time to change your notions.
Review excerpt: “The fastest overclocked 8800 GTX that I have tested to date is the XFX 8800 GTX XXX and that card has a core clock of 630MHz, a memory clock of 2GHz and a shader clock of 1350MHz. For more details on the features of the PNY 8800 GTX Overclocked, check out the specifications page of this review.” Read the full PNY XLR8 8800 GTX Overclocked graphics card review here.
