AMEX Digital announced today that they would be showing of their most recent Mainboard for AMD AM2 CPUs aimed at the media center aficionado. The AMD 690G HDMI AV Pure Mainboard features onboard video with ATI Radeon X1250 graphics running at a core frequency of 400MHz and supporting ATI AVIVO and multiple display configurations.

This Mainboard will be ideal for those with Blu-ray or HD DVD drives in their computers thanks to the inclusion of an HDMI out for the onboard video. DDR2 RAM is supports at speeds of 533MHz, 667 MHz, and 800 MHz. SATA RAID in 0, 1 and 10 is supported as well for data security and redundancy.

Expansion options for those looking to add an HD tuner or more powerful graphics card includes a PCI-Express x16 slot. Network connectivity is via onboard Realtek RTL8111B-GR gigabit LAN chip and audio is via integrated HD 8-ch 3D surround sound. Other I/O connections include a VGA port, serial port, parallel port, and four USB 2.0 ports as well as line-in, line-out, and mic ports. The press release says this board is for the Euro market and will sell for Eu$60 and will be on display at Computex 2007. Via Amex Digital
