Google added another missing piece in their web service eco system with the purchase of Feedburner a RSS feed management service.
Chicago-based FeedBurner is a leading provider of feed distribution and management tools. FeedBurner offers a feed advertising platform for advertisers to reach engaged feed readers through targeted in-feed ads and innovative techniques like RSS feed-driven ads.
By combining Feedburner's feed metrics with Google's site and marketing analytics, publishers now get a comprehensive, 360-degree view of their audience.
