Social messaging service Twitter gets some exposure at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. The guys from the MTV Show Human Giant are twittering live as they get ready for the show, walking the red-carpet and being in the audience.
So in case watching the MTV awards on TV is not enough, you can check out on Twitter what the guys are up to.
Quote from the Human Giant blog:
"Follow us during the Movie Awards with Twitter. Seriously. All of us are going to be Twittering throughout the night. We’ll be on the red carpet, backstage at the show and hitting the after parties, so you know we’ll have lots to say about it all. Stuff like who was robbed, who hooked up with who, who drank too many soda pops, etc. "
This year's MTV awards could be really fun as the very funny Sarah Silverman is hosting it. See a MTV award promo spot below staring Sarah Sliverman.
Also on the conceptional side the show should be interesting. MTV hired Emmy Award-winning, reality television honcho Mark Burnett (Survivor) to direct the show. There will be giant, floor-to-ceiling "World Wide Web Wall" where viewers can participate in the show from the sidelines - TV meets WEB 2.0. This year the MTV awards are live and broadcast on Sunday, June 3 at 8PM/7C.
