Today we are taking a look at a Pharos Drive GPS 140 that I had a chance to test out on my recent vacation. The thought of a GPs unit is very alluring to many and can make following directions much easier.
Pharos bundles everything you need from the maps and windshield mount to the cigarette lighter power adapter. Somewhat slow to program the Pharos Drive GPS 140 was able to route me directly to the door of my intended location, but certainly not as fast as it could have.
Review excerpt: “When turning the machine on for the first time it takes 5 minutes or so for the receiver to find the satellites before you can start to program the unit. Programming the unit is straight forward and fairly easy to do, though programming can take a while as you enter data.” Read the full Pharos Drive GPS 140 review here.
