Moments ago, Archos introduced their fifth generation of PMP devices with the Archos 605 WiFi. This new PMP allows you to play all sorts of digital entertainment files in the form of movies, TV shows, photos, and music. You can also use it to record your favorite shows directly to the 605 WiFi.
The screen is a massive 4.3” touch screen with an 800 x 480-screen resolution with 16 million colors. WiFi allows you to connect to the Internet and surf, share content and access video sites like DailyMotion.
Customization is possible with availability of accessories and plug-ins for the 605 WiFi. You can zoom in on photos stored on the internal storage and make photo slide shows that can be viewed on the device or your TV. Storage capacities are 30GB, 80GB, and 160GB. It also seems there is a 4GB flash-based version.

The PMP can display photos in JPEG, BMP and PNG formats and a PDF viewer is included. Music playback time is 17 hours and video playback is rated for 5.5 hours. The 605 WiFi measures in at 4.8” x 3.2” x 0.6” for the 4GB and 3GB versions and 4.8” x 3.2” x 0.75” for the 80GB and 160GB versions, making for very portable dimensions. Via Archos
