More iPhone Specs from Apple

This seems a bit odd to me, Apple is announcing that they have changed some specs on the iPhone for the better. I say how you can change specs on something due to launch in only a few weeks.

Seems more likely to me that the specs were always this way, and Apple held them back till late in the game to make them seem like a value add to coax those on the fence about buying the iPhone to get out their wallets.

At any rate, Apple says the iPhone is now getting a glass screen and a longer battery life up from the five hours initially reported to eight hours. If the story I posted last week about 3 million iPhones being ready to ship is accurate, there seems to be no way that the specs on the iPhone could have changed.
