HP Rolls out Gobs of New Photosmart Products for the Summer

HP is introducing a bevy of new photographic products for the summer including no less than nine new digital cameras. The top of the line camera being introduced is the HP Photosmart R937 Digital Camera that will retail for $299.99 and is expected to be available in august. The camera has 8MP, 3x optical zoom and 8x digital zoom, a rechargeable battery and 32MB of internal memory.

Other cameras being introduced include the following Photosmart models, the E337, M447, M547, M637, Mz67, M737, R742, R847, and the R937. I there new products include lab-quality photo printers called the Photosmart D7260, D7460, and the C5280 All-in-One.

HP is also launching a blog covering topics related to ink jet printing. It seems they want to cover ink jet topics as well, not just hawking new wares, which I guess is cool. I am not so sure ink jets are hot topics to most users, with printer prices dropping most people simply trash them when they break or act up. I doubt they can fix stupid, like the guy they talk about on the first post who filled his black cartridge with blue ink from a pen and wondered why the printer broke.
