Sheesh, AT&T plans to sell so many iPhones on launch day that they have hired an additional 2000 temporary workers to help wade through the hordes of geeks looking for one of the phones.
So far, 1800 AT&T retail stores will be selling the phone and according to OhGizmo AT&T, employees have had over 100,000 combined hours of training on the thing.
Each employee is said to have six hours of individual training on the iPhone. AT&T stores are still set to close at 4:30 local time and reopen at 6pm letting the geeks in and staying open until 10pm. I wonder if we will see any iPhone violence as we saw on PS3 launch day. Via OhGizmo!
