Nokia announced that the Nokia E61i and Nokia E65 business phones are now widely available in the United States.
Nokia announced the E61i and the E65 at the 3GSM 2007 in February.
Nokia highlights that the new Eseries phones are available to businesses through the IT channel. Nokia supplies the devices to the IT channel through distribution agreements with Brightpoint and Ingram Micro. All approved value-added resellers (VARs) in the Nokia for Business Channel Program are authorized to resell the devices to their business customers. Nokia E61i, designed specifically for extensive mobile email usage featuring advanced attachment handling with on-the-device document editing.
Nokia E61i supports corporate mobile email solutions such as Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email, Good Mobile Messaging, Mail for Exchange, Seven Mobile Mail, and BlackBerry Connect and most popular consumer email solutions. the E61i also has a music and video player.
The new Nokia E65 is a slim and elegant slider with the known E-series functionality.
Users can make conference calls, access their contacts database, mute and unmute calls, and access an application of choice through 'My Own' key with just one push of a button.
Nokia E61i and Nokia E65 are expected to retail for approximately $400, but actual price will vary by outlet.
