Motorola signed David Beckham to promote the new RAZR2 mobile phone in Korea. Motorola chose Korea to launch the new slimmer RAZR that the company announced in May.
Motorola is giving away trips to LA for some lucky people amongst the first customers of the RAZR2 in Korea.
This is not the first time Motorola uses David Beckham. The soccer star also for instance promoted the RAZR in 2006 in Japan.
The highlights of the new RAZR2 are 2.2 inch screen and a 2.0 inch screen, faster ARM processor, CrystalTalk technology, up to 2GB of on-board memory, Web browsing, real-time point-to-point video and ultra-fast menu navigation all packed into a 2mm slimmer, stronger and sleeker design.
We still have to wait until Q3 for the RAZR2 to be available.
See also the RAZR2 Kick-Off Event site (Korean).
By the way, David Beckham's wife is a Spice Girl again.
