RealNetworks & iRiver are announcing the release of the clix Rhapsody player for use on the Rhapsody music network. The clix Rhapsody is a second gen iriver clix device optimized for the Rhapsody Digital Music Service.

"We are excited to be launching the new clix Rhapsody," said Mr. Sean Kim, CEO of Reigncom, Ltd. "With Rhapsody DNA technologies, we are able to introduce a number of new features to enhance the consumer's digital music experience by providing intuitive ways to discover and enjoy new music directly on the device."

The clix Rhapsody uses the Direct-Click navigation, a 2.2” active-matrix screen and SRS WOW sound enhancement technology. The clix Rhapsody is available with 4GB of flash storage and sells for $189.99. If you already own a generation 2 clix, you can activate the Rhapsody features with a free firmware update. Via iriver
