EA ramps up promotion for their upcoming game SKATE for Xbox 360 and Sony PS3.

EA says SKATE is the closest thing to skateboarding without actually putting your feet on a board. SKATE features a new control system using intuitive flickit dual analog controls to perform skill-based trick executions.

SKATE features professional legends and upcoming pros including Danny Way, Mark Gonzales, Rob Dyrdek, Mike Carroll, P.J. Ladd, Chris Cole, Jason Dill, Pat Duffy, Jerry Hsu, Paul Rodriguez, Dennis Busenitz, Alex Chalmers, Chris Haslam, Colin McKay, John Rattray, Ryan Gallant, Ryan Smith and Terry Kennedy. Skating sequences can be captured with multiple camera angles. Editing tools allow you to create skate videos.
More details on the EA SKATE site. SKATE for Xbox 360 will be released on September 5th and for the PS3 SKATE comes on September 18th.
