Xbox Live Down?

Since a couple of hours I4U gets hit with is Xbox Live Down queries.

I tried to access xbox.com, but the site is not reachable. I do not recall that Microsoft scheduled maintenance for Xbox live.

Update:
xbox.com is reachable again.

When Microsoft is upgrading Xbox Live the usually take the servers offline for half a day. Looks like lots of you Xbox 360 gamers like get a quick game on in the morning before heading to work or getting to school.
We keep an eye on the Xbox Live situation.
