Apple reported their financial results for its fiscal 2007 third quarter ended June 30, 2007 yesterday afternoon.
Apple's profit raised 73% and the quarterly revenue climbed 24% to $5.41 billion.
Apple shipped 1,764,000 Macintosh computers, representing 33% growth over the year-ago quarter and exceeding the previous company record for quarterly Mac shipments by over 150,000.
Apple also sold 9,815,000 iPods during the quarter, representing 21% growth over the year-ago quarter.
Amidst these great numbers it is no surprise that the Apple stock gained 9.4% in after hour trading.
Everybody waited for the iPhone sales numbers. Apple did not clearly stated iPhone sales numbers. Under the position iPhones and other Hardware they listed 270,000 units in the financial report.
Apple said though that they expect to sell 1 million iPhones by the end of the current quarter.
