Today shuttle announced another new small form factor barebone computer system known as the SN68SG2. The new machine is based on the NVIDIA 7025/nforce 630a chipset and supports AMD AM2 socket processors.
The machine comes equipped with up to 4GB of DDR2-800 RAM, solid capacitors, Gigabit LAN and several SATA and eSATA connectors. The NVIDIA GeForce 7025 graphics chip supports DirectX 9 and is Vista compatible.
Supported AMD AM2 processors include the AMD Sempron, Athlon 64, and Athlon 64 X2. Internal expansion slots include a 1x PCI-E slot and one standard PCI slot. Two FireWire ports and six USB 2.0 ports are included as well as 8-channel audio. A 250-watt power supply is included as well. The XPC Barebone SN68SG2 will be in stores starting in August in Europe for EUR 225.00 including VAT, which is about $311 in American money. Via Shuttle
