Microsoft did not announce a Xbox 360 price-cut when Sony took the spot light at the E3 with the $100 price-cut for the Sony PS3. Now leaked retailer ads indicate that the premium Xbox 360 will see a $50 price drop next month.
First an image of a Wal-mart ad surfaced and over the weekend a Toy's R Us ad appeared promoting the same $50 price-cut.I am not sure if a $50 price-cut will have the same appeal as the $100 price-drop Sony did. Sony PS3 console sales did go up dramatically. Amazon.com still has the $499.99 PS3 in stock. You still get 5 free Blu-ray movies when purchasing a PS3.
