Author claims to have discovered current Da Vinci Last Supper Theory earlier

I have actually no real explanation why millions of people world-wide are obsessed with Da Vinci. It all started with a Reuters story we ran that several sites in Italy got wipped out because of people searching for Da Vinci's Last Supper on Google.

That story got thousands of hits, reason enough for me to look into this new Theory. I found an article with photos showing the reverse image overlay that supposedly reveals a new character and a baby on the Last Supper painting. This new theory was brought forward by Slavisa Pesci.Slavisa Pesci somehow managed to get his theory noticed the right way to trigger an internet storm.

Just now I got an email from an author named Derek Bair who claims to have made these Da Vinci Last Supper discoveries already month ago.

On his site there is a free version of his book that describes it in chapter three. Mr. Bair makes some other Da Vinci claims as well.

Experts actually hold those new theories for highly questionable. But ever since The Da Vinci Code movie mankind is into new Da Vinci theories.

About.com (Thanks Dwayne) has some indepth look at Da Vinci theories.
