Corsair has launched a couple new computer power supplies with an environmentally friendly design called the VX Series. The VX series consists of two products, the VX 450W and the VX550W both of which meet the Energy Star 2007 Standard.
Corsair claims the two PSUs feature the industry’s most efficient power-management and ultra-quiet design. Both models use a large single +12V rail to deliver continuous power under heavy loads.
These power supplies feature Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) and 80% or more energy efficiency under a wide condition range means less heat generation during operation. The VX450 will sell for $85.99 and the VX550 will sell for $99.99 with both models available now. Via Corsair
