The OCZ Trifecta is a SD, MicroSD and a USB drive. Where card like the Trifecta will have an advantage to some is that you only need to carry one format with you since the MicroSD slips into the standard SD converter which in turn has the USB connector built-in.
To be able to use the PNY 4-in-1 as a USB drive requires the USB adapter be available. Pricing for the PNY 4-in-1 Mobile Media Kit is $29.99 for the 1GB version and $49.99 for the 2GB version making the price quite good.
"More and more of the latest- and next-generation mobile devices are adding storage-hungry multimedia capabilities that need additional capacity beyond what is included with the device, thus, requiring the use of flash memory cards. Until now, the challenge has been that not all devices use the same type of memory card.” said Dean Delserro, senior marketing manager, for PNY Technologies. "The 4-in-1 Mobile Media Kit satisfies users' demand for one solution that supports virtually all their mobile memory needs - from taking pictures or video, downloading music, playing games, sending e-mails or text messages, browsing the Web or even working on office documents.” NOTE: I inadvertently typed 4GB in this post, the $49.99 is for a 2GB kit.
