Apple to announce new iMacs and .Mac Update today?

Today Apple is holding a media event at the Apple head quarters in Cupertino. The event starts at 10am PCT. The current rumors point to the announcement of new iMacs.

Apple also notified .Mac users of a down-time for today. This notification is of course the basis to assume that Apple will roll-out a .Mac update.Apple Insider reports that there might be slightly updated new Mac mini and possibly a new iLife release.

The Apple store will be down again. That is the only sure thing we can say for the upcoming Apple event.

In any case the Apple stock price gained 2.58% in yesterday's trading and is getting closer to the level it had before the debunked production cut rumor hit.
