The speaker portion is a Magnesium 4 ohm design with 2.4W of power and a 100hz-20Khz frequency response. Power comes from a built-in rechargeable battery that is good for 4-6 hours of playback.
Battery charging is about 2.5 hours on DC 5V and 4 hours on USB. You can get the little speaker in white, black and silver colors. If you like to listen to your MP3 player or play games on a PSP with an external speaker the X-Mini seems to be a very portable way to do it. Via XM-i
