The Pioneer LX01 features a 250GB HDD DVD recorder, 1080p DVD scaling, dual drive subwoofer, four satellite speakers and a LCD touch-screen remote.
The LX01 has 2 combined front/centre speakers and 2 rear speakers; each of which has a distinctive 3-dimensional shape. Using the dodecahedron speaker concept the speakers deliver an omni-directional sound.
Pioneer is supposed to exhibit the LX01 at the IFA 2007 in September. The price will be in Europe 2,500 Euro (~$3,421). The 'haute couture' home cinema system is supposed to ship in October.
