If you frequent online forums or websites where lots of geeks handout, you have probably seen someone with a lolcat avatar. Lolcat is a mostly made up language that is typically associated with a picture of a cat, naturally.

If you have ever wanted to make your own lolcat picture or avatar, but just couldn’t quite get the syntax down and were unable to find a lolcat language course at your local junior college you are in luck.

You can hop over to Speaklolcat and put in whatever phrase you want translated from normal English into lolcat, hit a button and get your text. Now you can be just like those other geeks with the goofy cat pictures with semi-legible sentences on them.

Let me lolcat translate that last paragraph for you: “U CAN HOP OVAR 2 SPEAKLOLCAT AN' PUT IN WHATEVR PHRASE U WANTS TRANLATD FRUM NORMAL ENGLISH INTO LOLCAT, HIT BUTN AN' GIT UR TEXT. NAO U CAN BE JUS LIEK DOSE OTHR GEEKZ WIF TEH GOOFY KAT PICTUREZ WIF SEMI-LEGIBLE SENTENCEZ ON THEM.”
