Turtle Beach announced a new set of wireless headphones today for the Xbox called the Ear Force X3 Wireless. The headphones allow for independent control of the volume of chat and game audio. This allows you to have decent volume levels for the game chat and still hear the game sounds.
Each of the ear cups has a 40mm driver and is powered by a low distortion amp for deep bass. The ear cups are padded as is the headband for comfort during long gaming sessions.
Dynamic Talkback Expander adjusts incoming live chat levels in loud game environments as well so you don’t miss signals form team mates. Since the headphones are wireless they also shut themselves off to save on power from the AA batteries. The headphones are available for pre-order now for $99.95.
