The Z10 has 8 megapixels and features face detection. The lens uses refraction technology so it never sticks out when zooming. Digital shake reduction is also built into the camera allows for ISO of up to 3200.
The Pentax Optio S10 (pictured) is also a compact digital camera, but has a 10 megapixel sensor and offers shake reduction and face recognition. The S10 is also DivX certified and with the shake reduction users can shoot quality DivX movies right from the camera. Optical zoom is 7x. The S10 will be available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores in America. Both cameras will be available in September for $249.95 each.
