Venturer Electronics announces a HD-DVD player for the U.S. market.
The Venturer SHD7000 features only 1080i video output and is expected to be priced lower than the currently cheapest Toshiba HD-DVD player ($226).
The Ventuer SHD7000 supports DVD movie upscaling and Dolby TrueHD.Wal-mart carried Venturer products in the past. So expect the Venturer HD-DVD Player to be on the shelves there this fall.
