Sanyo announced the new Xacti DMX-HD1000 HD camcorder yesterday. Amazon.com already started to take pre-orders for the new world's smallest HD camcorder.
The Sanyo DMX-HD1000 sells for $799.99 and will start shipping on October 5th.
The Sanyo Xacti HD1000 camcorder records 1080i high-definition video with 4 megapixel still images in a single compact and elegant design. Features include full 1080i HD Recording, 10x Optical (f/1.8) HD Zoom Lens, 4 Megapixel still photos, 2.7" Widescreen Display, MPEG4 AVC/H.264 Format, HDMI high-definition output, and up to 8GB SDHC Memory Cards support.
