Toshiba announced the TDP-EW25 and TDP-EX20 LCD Projector that will network with Windows Vista and have ultrashort focus lenses.
The Toshiba TDP-EW25 has WXGA resolution and a 1.2m throw distance. The TDP-EX20 comes with XGA resolution and manages a min. 1.5m throw distance.
Neither of these projectors need a VGA cable. Via Windows Vista the image data can be directly transmitted via a network cable. Toshiba runs Windows Embedded CE 6.0 on these projectors to enable this cool functionality.Other features include TI Brilliant Color, 2,000:1 contrast ratio and 2,600 / 2,3000 lm brightness.
The pricing for the Toshiba TDP-EW25 is 449,400 Yen (~$3,880) and for the TDP-EX20 it is 386,400 Yen (~$3,340).
