Apple slashes the iPhone price of the 8GB model from $599 to only $399.

$200 is a nice price-cut, which you have the luxury to do if you price a product high in the beginning.

This new lower pricing leaves room for guessing on what the introductory price for the iPhone in Europe is going to be.Apple still did not act on the apparent unlock solutions, of course if some reseller already pilled up iPhones to sell them unlocked he would now have a financial problem.
