Volvo unveils a hybrid concept car dubbed ReCharge at the IAA 2007 next week.
The basis for the Volvo ReCharge is a Volvo C30. The battery powered electric engine gives the ReCharge a range of 100km. The 1.6l 4 cylinder engine takes you the rest of the way.
Apparently the Volvo ReCharge would have a 66% lower emission than today's available hybrid cars. This is a nice thing to say, but meaningless. There is no word when Volvo is bringing the ReCharge to the market.
Via Jalopnik. Jalopnik also posted a video of the ReCharge.
