Plantronics announced today a new Bluetooth headset for the voyager line called the 855. The 855 is a stereo Bluetooth design that keeps the more concealed look of a typical mono Bluetooth headset.
The 855 weighs in at 15 grams and the second earbud is attached to the main unit by a wire that runs behind your ear and around your neck. Plantronics uses their AudioIQ technology for improved sound quality.
For times when you don’t want the second ear bud that adds stereo capability, it is removable allowing you to use the main earpiece only. You can also switch between calls and music seamlessly. The 855 provides up to seven hours of talk time per charge and has a 200 hour standby time.
