On Tuesday Sony released the firmware 3.70 for the Sony PSP in Japan. Today they released 3.71.
The new 3.71 only removes links to an idea contest Sony held in Japan. So for the rest of the world the next PSP update will be this one. The last one was firmware 3.52.
As reported the 3.70 firmware included new features like custom theme settings and scene search in video playback.If you want to get your hands on a new slim Sony PSP, the only one shipping right now is the silver PSP Daxter pack. The other versions will ship in October.
