Steve Jobs said yesterday at the iPhone press-conference in London that Apple's job is to stymie hackers who try to unlock the iPhone reports Computer World.
Free iPhone unlock software solutions like AnySim and iUnlock are available. The unlock process is still isn't that easy, but it will be soon.
Steve Jobs remarks yesterday are the first reactions from Apple about the iPhone unlock hacks. I have already mentioned many times that Apple needs to do something as their business model for the iPhone is based also on sharing revenue the exclusive carriers make with the iPhone.
It will be interesting to see what Apple will come up with to cripple the iPhone unlock software solutions.
