Malibal, the manufacturer of gaming notebooks, announced a new line today called the Nine Series. The new Nine Series notebooks feature 17-inch LCD screens with 1920 x 1200 screen resolution. Available processors include the Intel Core 2 Duo up to an X6800 2.93 GHz Extreme Edition desktop processor.

Buyers can also opt for a Core 2 Quad processor up to a Q6700 at 2.66 GHz. Up to 4GB of Ram is available and three hard drive bays are available for up to 750GB of storage in a RAID 0/1/5 configuration.

Graphics are via single or dual NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GTX 512MB graphics cards, 8700M GT 512MB cards, or NVIDIA Quadro FX Go 1600M. You can also choose between a Blu-ray or HD DVD drive and 802.11g WiFi is built-in along with an integrated TV tuner and a 7-in-1 card reader. Prices for the Nine Series start at $2999.
