Duracell Launches Mobile Battery Charger

Duracell introduced a new charger today designed to give users of portable devices a convenient method of recharging on the go. The Mobile charger allows users to recharge AA or AAA rechargeable NiMH batteries by plugging the charger into the wall outlet or a car lighter.

The mobile charger also sports a USB port allowing users to recharge any portable device that uses USB charging from iPods and other MP3 players to cell phones. The Mobile Charger is packaged with pre-charged Duracell Rechargeable batteries.

"Today's on-the-go consumers are looking for new ways to power their portable lifestyle," said Rachel Calomeni, brand manager, North America, Duracell. "Our innovative and easy-to-use Mobile Charger is the ultimate power pack, delivering extraordinary performance and giving users the flexibility to power devices anytime, anywhere." The Mobile Charger will be available this fall for $24.99 in the places you normally buy batteries.
