Chinese Game operator The9 Limited announces that World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Surpasses 800,000 Peak concurrent users in Mainland China.
This is the highest concurrent user count since WOW became available in China in 2005. WOW: The Burning Crusade was launched on September 6th in China.I wonder if amongst the 800,000 concurrent users are still Chinese kids that are forced to mine for gold.
I could not find the overall concurrent user count of World of Warcraft. Not sure if Blizzard Entertainment published that. If you know the number please email me.
