Gateway Announces New GT5628 Desktop Computer
 
 

The final new product announced by Gateway today is the GT5628 desktop PC. This computer uses an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU and runs on the Intel G33 chipset. Graphics are via NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT with 256Mb of RAM.

3024MB of DDR2 RAM are included and storage is to a 500GB HDD. A 15-in-1 card reader is included and the optical drive is an 18x DVD+R/RW dual layer drive.

Connectivity options include VGA, DVI and S-Video and sound is 8-channel 7.1 HD audio. Network connectivity is via Intel 10/100 RJ 45 port and a mouse and keyboard are included. The computer will be available on October 14 for $959.99.
