A good use for this would be if you had an employee suddenly leave and you need access to password-protected documents. Another good use would be for law enforcement officers that need to check out password-protected evidence.
The bad part is that hackers could buy the tool and use it to gain access to personal and confidential information on your computer. This application says it is specifically designed to be used with the AES encryption used by Office 2007. The professional version sells for $199.
