The rumored Apple OS X 10.5 Leopard release has been confirmed by Apple. Earlier today the Apple store was down and now features pre-order options for the highly anticipated Apple OS X update.

You can pre-order Leopard for $129 and it will ship for free from the Apple store. Amazon.com has had the same offer since June.Apple says that Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard is packed with over 300 new features, installs easily, and works with the software and accessories you already have.
The 5-user Family Pack sells for $199.
