Panasonic announces the LF-PB271JD Blu-ray Disc Drive for PCs.

The Serial ATA LF-PB271JD Blu-ray Disc Writer supports Recordable Blu-ray Disc (BD-R) layer 25GB and 1/2 sided layer 50GB with up to 4X recording speed.

Including the Blu-ray formats the drive also supports DVD and CD formats. All-in-all the LF-PB271JD supports 14 disc formats.This Blu-ray drive works with Windows Vista and Windows XP.
The new Blu-ray PC drive will start shipping on November 10th.
